Review Guide
At 45x Crypto, user reviews are an important part of how we assess cryptocurrency exchanges. Real feedback from real traders helps our readers make better decisions.
This guide explains what we look for in a review and how to write one that gets published.
Who Can Submit a Review?
We accept reviews from anyone with direct, personal experience using a cryptocurrency exchange or trading platform.
We welcome feedback from:
- Retail traders and active investors
- Beginners who have recently registered on a platform
- Users who experienced issues with deposits, withdrawals, or support
- Long-term customers with an informed overall perspective
We do not accept reviews from exchange employees, marketing agencies, or anyone acting on behalf of a platform.
What to Include in Your Review
A useful review gives readers specific, actionable information. We recommend covering:
- Platform name — which exchange you are reviewing
- How long you have used it — a few weeks, months, or years
- Purpose — spot trading, derivatives, staking, simple buying, etc.
- Fees — what you actually paid, not what the platform advertises
- Withdrawals — how fast, how smooth, any issues encountered
- Customer support — did you need it, and how did it go
- Overall verdict — would you recommend it, and to whom
The more specific your feedback, the more valuable it is to other users.
Writing Standards
To be considered for publication, reviews must be:
- Based on your own direct experience
- Written in English
- Specific and factual — avoid vague claims without supporting detail
- Balanced — include both positives and negatives where applicable
- Free of promotional language, affiliate links, or advertising
Reviews should not contain:
- Unverifiable accusations without context
- Offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language
- Content copied from other sources
- Fake or exaggerated experiences
Rating System
When submitting a review, you will be asked to rate the platform from 1 to 5 across key categories:
- Fees
- Security
- Usability
- Payments & Withdrawals
- Customer Support
Your individual scores are combined into an overall rating that contributes to the platform’s aggregate score on our site.
Editorial Review Process
All submitted reviews go through an editorial check before publication:
- Submission — your review is received and queued for review
- Verification — our team checks for compliance with these guidelines
- Decision — approved reviews are published; rejected ones may receive feedback
- Publication — your review appears on the relevant exchange page
We aim to complete this process within 3–5 business days.
